Frances Ordoyne Larose, 78, a native and resident of Choctaw, La passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at St. James Chapel in Choctaw, LA from 8:00 am till funeral time. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, LA.
She is survived by her children, Adrian Larose, Bonnie Bourgeois and husband Eves, sisters, Earline Sanchez, Melba Sanchez, Doris Sanchez; grandchildren, Jared Larose, Lani Cortez, Brandon Bourgeois, Leah Bourgeois; great-grandchildren, Layne Cortez, Allie Cortez, Gage Larose.
Preceded in death by her husband, Albert Larose; parents, Wallace Ordoyne and Lilly Tabor Ordoyne, brothers, Roland Ordoyne, Wilton Ordoyne, Samuel Ordoyne; sister, Louise Duet.
Her life was all about her family. She was a loving mom, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She loved to cook for her family and friends. In her spare time she loved to play Booray, the poker machines and spend time at the casinos. She also loved to watch the Saints games. She enjoyed taking care of the elderly and sick as a caregiver. The family would like to thank Dr. Sarat Donepudi, Dr. Gamble and staff at Mary Bird Perkins in Houma, Dr. Dunn and the staff and the medical team at Thibodaux Regional Cancer Center. The family is also thankful for the care of her wonderful nurse Darlene Brennan, Father Philip and Father Vincent.
